The Filetopia's Client is also known as the Collection
Manager, as this is the main component of the program. All the others components are
designed to work for or around this one.This is where you can manage all your
collection files, compare it with other collections and customize your list.
It has a plethora of functionality:
Selection
functions: by Path, Name, Type, etc.
Hot Files and
Ignore Files
Sorting by any
field
Comparing with
any open list or disk list
Comparing
automatically with a master List
Disk files
management: Copy, Move, Delete
Exact Duplicate
Analisis using CRC

The List Window uses tabs to hold information
about a List. Initially only 2 tabs show: the Files List itself and the Properties
tab, that shows properties about the list. After a Compare is run, two new tabs
appear: the 'Missing Tab' that shows all files missing from the List in the
compared-to list, and the 'Missed Tab' that shows all files that exist in
the compare-to list and not in the List. If this List belong to another user and
this users grants us access to his server, then two new tabs appear: the 'Download tab'
that shows all files being downloaded from the remote's user File Server and the 'Upload
tab' that shows the files we are sending to the remote user.
So many tabs might seem complicated at first, but it is a great way to
centralize everything related to a certain List and once used to it, it is very simple and
easy to use.
